Students from the higher education institutions of the St.Gallen region engage for sustainable development and a desirable future through innovative course formats and extracurricular activities. The Studierenden-WIRKstatt offers a window into this engagement and makes it visible and tangible.

Insights into projects, initiatives, and teaching formats from the region’s higher education institutions. Drop by anytime. Featuring posters from the MaCS project “Zügig id Ferie”, the oikos projects Catalyst, Sustainability Week & Action Days, ab booth with a prototype of an Ecosystem Navigator by ChangeHub and the PHSG student project “EcoPulse. Sustainable StartUp Challenges for primary schools”. Visitors can also contribute their ideas for a desirable future. - 13:30–15:00

oikosStep into the role of a consultant for an hour and tackle a real-world challenge from oikos Solar. Our Consulting Challenge brings you authentic questions we work on every day for our clients, with our team there to guide you.Foundations of Sustainable Finance
oikosIn this interactive workshop we explore what sustainable finance is and why it concerns all of us. We cover the fundamentals of ESG and impact investing and look at current trends, opportunities, and risks. You will learn what influence your money has and why this topic is personally relevant to you. You will also receive practical tips for safe, climate-friendly investing as well as insights into career opportunities. A short quiz rounds off the workshop. No prior knowledge required – it is aimed at anyone who wants to use their money more consciously and sustainably. - 14:00–16:00
